About Me
My Experience
I have 30 years of experience in education, teaching health/physical education at the middle school level for 22 years and as a student advisor for eight years. As a student advisor, I worked with a team of teachers and supervised approximately 230 sixth-grade students. I also have over ten years of experience with Trauma-Informed practices, Social-Emotional Learning, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, and behavioral and academic interventions. In July 2020, I retired from the Red Clay School District.
My Background
I am a certified trauma professional and Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Livingstone College and a Master of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Personal
When not working with clients, I enjoy music, reading, and spending time with my husband and two adult children.

Intro Consultation
I offer a complimentary 30-minute service to meet to determine the needs of potential clients,
After this initial consultation, I will follow up with a recommendation of appropriate services.
Family Support
Affordable hourly sessions are available to give clients guidance, techniques, and strategies for supporting their children in various settings. Topics can include but are not limited to task productivity, parenting, and social-emotional learning.
Professional Development
Professional development is available for organizations, daycares, and public, private and charter schools. Topics can include but are not limited to trauma-informed practices, building support systems, and social-emotional learning.
